Bowas Group
Since 1975, Bowas has supplied plants, machines and services to the military and commercial explosives industry, from feasibility studies to installation, and acts as EPC contractor for complete energetic-materials plants. Majority-owned by Repkon Group since 2024.
Overview
Bowas was founded in 1975 as the international marketing arm of the Bohlen Industrie and WASAG Chemie activities. Today Bowas Holding AG, based in Zug, supplies manufacturing plants, machines and services to the military and commercial explosives industry, and acts as EPC contractor for complete energetic-materials plants.
Its services span feasibility studies, engineering, quality control, training and installation support. Repkon Group acquired a majority share in Bowas in 2024. Bowas works alongside its affiliates Bowas-Induplan Chemie in Salzburg and Dott. Mariano Pravisani & C. near Udine.
